What’s new/up

Just got back from visiting a favorite Songwriting Camp, SummerSongs and was thrilled to camp out over night and see some friends I’ve missed! Got to join in for song circles, and classes with the infectiously vivacious, Sloan Wainwright, and a master of melody, Cliff Eberhardt! Hoping to go back for a full week, eventually and make it a habit.

Thanks to all who came to ConnectCon to catch GlumPuppet perform on the Crawl at Black-eyed Sally’s in Hartford. It was quite nice to perform for a crowd who really “got” us! For the Dr. Who Song, we had all the Whovians (a majority of the room) singing along with vigor. You know you’re in the right place when you overhear someone saying they’d wished they’d brought their sonic screwdriver! Here’s a video of it, thanks to our dear friend, Tiffy:

I’m busy rehearsing for Warner Theatre’s production of “Reefer Madness” the musical, directed by Keith Paul from Desultory Theater. So far, I’m having a blast with this super cast! More details in my schedule and next month. Keep two weekends in September clear to see it (Sept 13, 14, 19, 20 & 21)
